I have always passed through this lane and seen this small stall doing business in near darkness. I thought it was the usual soup stall until now. But this time I took a closer look and the customers were having Idiyappam and beef curry!
Also being sold were beef cutlets. I asked for a plate of beef curry with Idiappams. The curry is 60 bucks and idiyappams are just 5 rupees each.
The beef curry was quite tasty and the beef was very tender and tasty being slightly peppery and without overpowering masala flavor. Quantity was very filling as well. I had an extra idiyappam for total of 75 bucks. Very surprised to find such tender beef in this part of the city. But the beef cutlet wasn't anything special. Felt it was very ordinary and almost tasteless.
However, one thing about the shop is although the shop is open on most days he may take a leave suddenly. So do call him up at 9841706134, Mr. Thameen Khan before you go to confirm the shop is open.
